1.1. Objetivos de enseñanza:
1. OBJETIVOS DIDÁCTICOS.
Motivar a los alumnos y alumnas del grupo al inicio de una nueva Unidad didáctica, determinando el grado de
adquisición que tienen de las destrezas básicas (Reading, Writing, Listening y Speaking) y su competencia en
las diferentes habilidades lingüísticas y cognitivas, así como sobre sus conocimientos en las categorías
Vocabulary, Grammar y Pronunciation.
Reconocer y aplicar productivamente las diversas intenciones comunicativas y funciones (Objectives)
asociadas a la Unidad didáctica:
• Vocabulary:
- Talk and write using dates with ordinal numbers.
- Talk and write about literature.
- Talk and write using time expressions: yesterday, last week, two years ago, etc.
• Grammar:
- Form and use the past simple of ‘to be’ + ‘born’.
- Form and use the past simple of regular and irregular verbs.
- Use connectors: then / next /after that / later / finally.
• Pronunciation:
- Pronounce the ‘put’, ‘book’ and ‘foot’, and ‘food’, ‘rule’ and ‘blue’ sounds (Phonetic Chart).
- Pronounce the past simple –ed ending: /t/, /d/ and /id/.
• Reading:
- Read a short biography.
- Learn and use the following reading strategies: Simple phrases, Key words, Guessing meaning
• Writing:
- Write a biography.
- Analyse vocabulary and grammar in a composition.
• Listening and speaking:
- Ask and answer questions.
1.2. Objetivos de aprendizaje:
Reconocer y producir el vocabulario (Vocabulary) programado relacionado con los diversos campos
conceptuales que se desarrollan en la Unidad didáctica:
• Dates.
• Connectors: then / next / after that / later / finally.
• Literature.
Aprender, conocer y poner en práctica las estructuras gramaticales y contenidos lingüísticos (Grammar)
programados en la Unidad didáctica:
• Past simple of ‘to be’ + ‘born’.
• Past simple of regular and irregular verbs.
Identificar, reconocer y reproducir los sonidos (Pronunciation) programados en la Unidad didáctica, así como
los aspectos de ritmo, acentuación y entonación de las palabras y expresiones estudiadas:
• ‘Put’, ‘book’ and ‘foot’, and ‘food’, ‘rule’ and ‘blue’ sounds (Phonetic Chart).
• /t/, /d/ and /id/ sounds.
Reconocer y aplicar productivamente las diversas destrezas asociadas a la Unidad didáctica:
• Reading:
- Text: A biography.
- Strategies: Simple phrases, Key words, Guessing meaning.
• Writing:
- Writing a biography.
- Analysing grammar.
• Listening and speaking:
- Asking and answering questions.
