Two fault status encodings are deprecated in <strong>ARM</strong>v6:<br />

<strong>ARM</strong>v6 Differences<br />

0b00011 was assigned as an alignment error encoding <strong>and</strong> is re-assigned as an Access Flag section<br />

fault in <strong>ARM</strong>v6K <strong>and</strong> <strong>ARM</strong>v7<br />

0b01010 was assigned as an external abort encoding <strong>and</strong> is a reserved value in <strong>ARM</strong>v7.<br />

<strong>ARM</strong>v6 <strong>and</strong> <strong>ARM</strong>v7 provide alternative alignment <strong>and</strong> synchronous external abort error encodings that are<br />

common to both versions of the architecture.<br />

G.5.3 Execution environment support<br />

In <strong>ARM</strong>v6, the JOSCR.CV bit is not changed on exception entry in any implementation of Jazelle.<br />
