NPE Crosstalk Test (#6)<br />

1000 ABORT The port may be busy with a valid call, or the system’s Music-On-Hold port is<br />

off-hook, which it usually is.<br />

AUX-TRK:<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the trunk group/member<br />

number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status trunk to determine the service state of the port. If the<br />

port is in use, wait until it is idle.<br />

3. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

CO-DS1:<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the trunk group/member<br />

number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status trunk to determine the service state of the port. If the<br />

port is in use, wait until it is idle before <strong>test</strong>ing.<br />

3. If the port status is active but the port is idle (no calls), enter display<br />

<strong>error</strong>s <strong>and</strong> check the <strong>error</strong> log for Error Type 1025. If this <strong>error</strong> exists,<br />

see the <strong>error</strong> log table for a description of this <strong>error</strong> <strong>and</strong> required actions<br />

for CO-DS1 (DS1 CO Trunk). The port may be locked up.<br />

4. If the port is idle, retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

CO-TRK:<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the trunk group/member<br />

number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status trunk to determine the service state of the port. If the<br />

port is in use, wait until it is idle before <strong>test</strong>ing.<br />

3. If the port status is active but the port is idle (no calls), enter display<br />

<strong>error</strong>s <strong>and</strong> check the <strong>error</strong> log for Error Type 1025. If this <strong>error</strong> exists,<br />

see the <strong>error</strong> log table for a description of this <strong>error</strong> <strong>and</strong> required actions<br />

for CO-TRK (Analog CO Trunk). The port may be locked up. Check the<br />

CO wiring, check for excessive loop current, <strong>and</strong> check the trunk<br />

translations. If the trunk is translated incorrectly, this <strong>test</strong> will abort.<br />

4. If the port status is idle, busyout <strong>and</strong> release the trunk, <strong>and</strong> retry the<br />

comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

5. If the <strong>test</strong> still aborts, replace the circuit pack.<br />
