DIOD-DS1 (DS1 DIOD Trunk)<br />

e. Error Type 130: the circuit pack has been removed or has been insane for more than 11<br />

minutes. To clear the <strong>error</strong>, reinsert or replace the circuit pack.<br />

f. Error Type 257: The DS1 Interface circuit pack detects a hardware fault. Aux Data 57392<br />

indicates no external release on PBX disconnect.<br />

g. Error Type 513: The DS1 Interface circuit pack detects a hardware fault. Aux Data 57393<br />

indicates belated external release on PBX disconnect.<br />

h. Error Type 769: The DS1 Interface circuit pack detects a hardware fault. Aux Data 57484<br />

indicates fault is detected on tip/ring.<br />

i. Error Type 1025: The DS1 Interface circuit pack detects a hardware fault, <strong>and</strong> Aux Data<br />

contains 51200, port is unavailable. Run the DS1 CO Trunk Dial Tone Seizure Test (#314).<br />

j. Error Type 1793: DS1 Interface circuit pack is out-of-service. Look for UDS1-BD <strong>error</strong>s in<br />

the <strong>error</strong> log if the port is on a TN464 UDS1 board. See UDS1-BD (UDS1 Interface Circuit<br />

Pack) for details.<br />

k. Error Type 2049:<br />

Aux Data 57473 – Rotary dial rate below 8 pulses per second.<br />

Aux Data 57474 – Rotary dial rate above 12 pulses per second.<br />

Aux Data 57475 – Rotary Dial interdigit time is too short.<br />

The DS1 interface circuit pack detects a hardware <strong>error</strong> on the DS1 DIOD trunk. The trunk<br />

cot communicate with the far end because it is unable to interpret digits sent from the<br />

far-end switch. Check with the far-end switch or Operating Company for proper trunk<br />

connection.<br />

l. Error Type 2305: Recorder message, trunk could not be seized (Aux Data 50944). Run<br />

DS1 CO Trunk Dial Tone Seizure Test (#314) <strong>and</strong> follow the outlined procedures.<br />

m. Error Type 2562: Retry Failure <strong>error</strong>. This <strong>error</strong> is logged only. It is not a hardware failure<br />

<strong>and</strong> hence does not start any <strong>test</strong>ing or generate any alarms. This <strong>error</strong> comes from<br />

Communication Manager <strong>and</strong> is generated when a second attempt (retry) to seize an<br />

outgoing trunk fails.<br />

n. Error Type 2817: Glare <strong>error</strong>. This <strong>error</strong> is logged only. It is not a hardware failure <strong>and</strong><br />

hence does not start any <strong>test</strong>ing or generate any alarms. This <strong>error</strong> is the result of a<br />

simultaneous seizure of a 2-way trunk from both the near <strong>and</strong> far ends. Attempt to place the<br />

call again. If the <strong>error</strong> persists, execute the DS1 CO Trunk Dial Tone Seizure Test (#314),<br />

<strong>and</strong> follow those procedures.<br />

o. Error Type 3840: The Port Audit And Update Test (#36) failed due to an internal system<br />

<strong>error</strong>. Enter status trunk to verify the status of the trunk. If the trunk is out-of-service,<br />

then enter release trunk to put it back into in-service. Retry the <strong>test</strong> comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />
