Board Type Check Test (#574)<br />

If the <strong>test</strong> has failed within the last 5 minutes, there is a 15 second delay before the result is<br />

returned. This prevents a repeated sequence of this <strong>test</strong> from always reporting the same result.<br />

If the <strong>test</strong> passes <strong>and</strong> a FAIL has not occurred within the last five minutes, a PASS is returned<br />

immediately.<br />

This <strong>test</strong> is run on PKT-BUS (Packet Bus).<br />

PASS No Packet circuit packs have reported packet bus-related inline <strong>error</strong>s<br />

within the last minute. This indicates that the packet bus is healthy, or that a<br />

packet bus fault is transient or is being caused by a faulty Packet circuit<br />

pack. If this <strong>test</strong> passes, but there are other signs of a packet bus failure<br />

such as logged <strong>error</strong>s or alarms or other <strong>test</strong> failures, see Isolating <strong>and</strong><br />

repairing packet-bus faults in Maintenance Procedures for <strong>Avaya</strong> Aura<br />

Communication Manager, Media Gateways <strong>and</strong> Servers (03-300432).<br />

Board Type Check Test (#574)<br />

This <strong>test</strong> verifies that a Tone-Clock circuit pack administered with a Stratum-3 clock source has<br />

board code TN780.<br />

This <strong>test</strong> runs on the following maintenance objects:<br />

● TDM-CLK (TDM Bus Clock)<br />

● TONE-BD (Tone-Clock Circuit Pack)<br />

● TONE-PT (Tone Generator)<br />
