Analog Line Ringer Update Test (#62)<br />

A ‘‘ringer on’’ or a ‘‘ringer off’’ message is sent to the firmware to start <strong>and</strong> stop the ringer on the<br />

set. This <strong>test</strong> runs on HYB-LINE (Hybrid Line) <strong>and</strong> MET-LINE (MET Line).<br />

1. Look in the Error Log for Error Type 18 (port busied out) for this<br />

port. If this Error Type is present, release the port with the<br />

release station extension comm<strong>and</strong>, <strong>and</strong> run the <strong>test</strong><br />

again.<br />

2. Make sure the terminal is connected.<br />

3. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the station<br />

extension number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status station to determine the service state of the<br />

port. If the port is in use, wait until it is idle before <strong>test</strong>ing.<br />

3. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

1392 ABORT This port is a TTI port. The <strong>test</strong> does not run on TTI ports.<br />

1. Verify that the port is a TTI port using either display port,<br />

(the port is a TTI port) or list config, which shows a t for the<br />

port.<br />

2. If either list config or display port indicate that the port<br />

is not a TTI port, escalate the problem. If both comm<strong>and</strong>s<br />

indicate that the port is a TTI port, the abort is correct, <strong>and</strong> no<br />

action is necessary.<br />

FAIL Internal system <strong>error</strong><br />

1. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />
