FAIL The +5V is out of tolerance.<br />

1. Enter status environment to check the voltages.<br />

a. +5V (+/- 5%) (4.75 to 5.25 V)<br />

2. If redundant power supplies are present, there may be a problem<br />

with the backplane. Verify that each power supply can detect the<br />

problem by using the recycle carrier comm<strong>and</strong>, specifying the<br />

slot number of the power supply to be shut down. Refer to the notes<br />

<strong>and</strong> cautions for this comm<strong>and</strong> in Maintenance Comm<strong>and</strong>s for<br />

<strong>Avaya</strong> Aura Communication Manager, Media Gateways <strong>and</strong><br />

Servers (03-300431) before executing the recycle carrier<br />

comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

3. Replace the power supply.<br />

4. If the problem persists, check the backplane for shorts.<br />
