Minor alarm is raised. In either case, run the short <strong>test</strong> sequence on the alarmed GPTD port<br />

<strong>and</strong> follow procedures for the individual <strong>test</strong> results.<br />

b. Error Type 0: run the short <strong>test</strong> sequence first. If every <strong>test</strong> passes, run the long <strong>test</strong><br />

sequence. Refer to each appropriate <strong>test</strong>’s description, <strong>and</strong> follow its recommended<br />

procedures.<br />

c. Error Type 257: the GPTD port lost its translation. Testing the GPTD port is sufficient to<br />

reload its translation. If <strong>test</strong>ing the GPTD port does not clear the <strong>error</strong>, then replace the Tone<br />

Detector circuit pack containing the defective GPTD port.<br />

d. Error Type 513: the GPTD port is having problems detecting call-progress tones. If this<br />

<strong>error</strong> is logged constantly, replace the Tone Detector circuit pack containing the defective<br />

GPTD port.<br />

e. Error Type 130: the circuit pack has been removed or has been insane for at least 11<br />

minutes. To clear the <strong>error</strong>, reinsert or replace the circuit pack.<br />
