_PE (Processor Ethernet) Alarms<br />

The _PE alarms are raised for the following servers:<br />

● S8720<br />

● S8730<br />

PE interface alarms<br />

_PE 1 Minor alarm: PE Health Check device is not responding.<br />

Resolution:<br />

1. Log on to System Management Interface.<br />

2. From the Installation menu, click Configure Server. The Configure Server wizard opens.<br />

3. On the Configure Interfaces screen, verify if IP address for PE Health Check is set to the<br />

gateway address.<br />

4. Execute the Ping diagnostics <strong>test</strong> to verify that the endpoint used for the PE Health Check<br />

device (the gateway) responds to a ping request. For more information about the Ping<br />

diagnostics <strong>test</strong>, see the System Management Interface Help.<br />

_PE 2 Minor alarm: PE on other server is not responding.<br />
