Maintenance <strong>Dem<strong>and</strong></strong> Tests<br />

SCOTCH Sanity: The SCOTCH device on a board communicates with switch software via the<br />

TDM bus for conferencing <strong>and</strong> gain adjustment by setting up connections on TDM bus time<br />

slots. If <strong>error</strong>s are reported from the board, the system takes the DSPs out of service <strong>and</strong><br />

executes a circuit pack reset (SAKI Test #53)<br />

This <strong>test</strong> runs on IPMEDPRO (TN2302 IP Media Processor).<br />

Error Codes 24576 - 24580: An ETHERNET device failed.<br />

1. Reset the circuit pack with busyout board location,<br />

reset board location, <strong>and</strong> release board location.<br />

2. Enter <strong>test</strong> board location long.<br />

Replace the circuit pack if the <strong>test</strong> continues to fail.<br />
