FAIL No response was received within the allowed time on one of the<br />

transmissions to the terminal. This indicates a problem with the data link<br />

to the voice terminal. This could be a sleeping set problem or it may be<br />

due to wiring or an unplugged or defective set.<br />

1. Check for <strong>error</strong>s in the <strong>error</strong> log, for example, <strong>error</strong> 1537.<br />

2. Remotely enter busyout location <strong>and</strong> release location,<br />

<strong>and</strong> run the short <strong>test</strong> sequence on the port to check for other<br />

<strong>error</strong>s associated with the port or terminal.<br />

3. Check the wiring to the set if it appears that the terminal is not<br />

responding to any <strong>test</strong>s. Otherwise, replace the terminal <strong>and</strong> rerun<br />

the <strong>test</strong>.<br />

4. If the <strong>test</strong> still fails, replace the circuit pack <strong>and</strong> reconnect the<br />

original terminal.<br />

PASS Hybrid Line Remote Digital Looparound <strong>test</strong> passed. The hybrid circuit<br />

pack is sending <strong>and</strong> receiving proper messages to <strong>and</strong> from the voice<br />

terminal.<br />

1. If problems still exist, investigate using other circuit pack <strong>test</strong>s <strong>and</strong><br />

by examining the station, wiring, <strong>and</strong> connections.<br />

Analog Line Station Lamp Update Test (#60)<br />

For this <strong>test</strong>, the lamps on the terminal are turned on based on the status record contained in<br />

the processor. The lamp updates run only if the station is in-service.<br />

This <strong>test</strong> is run on HYB-LINE (Hybrid Line) <strong>and</strong> MET-LINE (MET Line).<br />
