Actual capacity may be affected by a variety of factors, including the codec used for a call <strong>and</strong><br />

encryption usage <strong>and</strong> the echo cancellation tail length <strong>and</strong> fax support.<br />

TN2602AP features<br />

The TN2602AP supports hairpin connections <strong>and</strong> the shuffling of calls between TDM<br />

connections <strong>and</strong> IP-to-IP direct connections. The TN2602AP can also perform the following<br />

functions:<br />

● Echo cancellation<br />

● Silence suppression<br />

● Dual-tone multifrequency (DTMF) detection<br />

● AEA Version 2 <strong>and</strong> AES media encryption<br />

● Conferencing<br />

● 802.1p <strong>and</strong> 802.Q layer 2 QoS mechanisms<br />

● RSVP protocol<br />

The TN2602AP IP Media Resource 320 circuit pack supports the following codecs for voice,<br />

conversion between codecs, <strong>and</strong> fax detection:<br />

● G.711, A-law or Mu-law, 64 kbps<br />

● G.726A, 32 kbps<br />

● G.729 A/AB, 8 kbps audio<br />
