The MM760 Media Module provides the audio bearer channels for Voice over IP calls, <strong>and</strong> is<br />

under control of the G700. One MM760 Media Module has one VoIP-MM media processing<br />

resource. Based on system administration of audio codecs, a VoIP-MM can h<strong>and</strong>le either 64 or<br />

32 simultaneous channels of H.323 audio processing. The VoIP-MM can service 64 channels if<br />

the IP Parameters form specifies only G.711 mu-law or G.711 a-law as the audio codecs. If any<br />

other codec type (G.723-5.3K, G.723-6.3K, or G.729) is administered, the VoIP-MM can only<br />

service 32 channels.<br />
