FAIL Test failed. The <strong>error</strong> code indicates the number of byte count <strong>error</strong>s<br />

found by the Tone Detector.<br />

1. Reset the circuit pack via reset board location <strong>and</strong> then run<br />

this <strong>test</strong> again. If the <strong>test</strong> continues to fail, replace the circuit pack<br />

(see Warning).<br />

2. If there are recurring alarms on this port caused by this <strong>test</strong> failing,<br />

replace the circuit pack even if Step 1 works (see Warning).<br />

WARNING: Replacing<br />

the circuit pack results in loss of integrated<br />

announcements. Refer to General notes.<br />

255 FAIL Test failed. The announcement Port <strong>and</strong> the Tone Detector never<br />

synchronized. Check for active GPTD-PT <strong>error</strong>s, <strong>and</strong> refer to GPTD-PT<br />

(General-Purpose Tone Detector Port) to diagnose them first.<br />

1. If there are no active GPTD-PT <strong>error</strong>s, reset the circuit pack via<br />

reset board location <strong>and</strong> then run this <strong>test</strong> again. If the <strong>test</strong><br />

continues to fail, replace the circuit pack (see Warning).<br />

2. If there are recurring alarms on this port caused by this <strong>test</strong> failing,<br />

replace the circuit pack even if Step 1 works (see Warning).<br />

PASS This port can cleanly play announcements. User-reported troubles on this<br />
