1040 ABORT This <strong>test</strong> is not performed for trunk ports administered as access<br />

endpoints.<br />

1. Verify this port is an access endpoint by using display<br />

port.<br />

2. If the port has been administered as an access endpoint, then<br />

this <strong>test</strong> should abort <strong>and</strong> no action is necessary.<br />

2000 ABORT<br />

or FAIL<br />

Seizure message is not received back within 10 seconds.<br />

1. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals a maximum of 5<br />

times.<br />

2. If the <strong>test</strong> continues to fail, check the far-end to ensure a<br />

translation match at both ends.<br />

3. Check the facility.<br />

2100 ABORT Could not allocate the necessary system resources to run the <strong>test</strong>.<br />

This could be due to a failure to seize the port.<br />

1. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

The first part of this <strong>test</strong> checks for proper activation <strong>and</strong> deactivation of the port’s E lead. The<br />

second part checks the M lead electronic power feed current flow.<br />
