For an unduplicated center stage switch configuration, only one EI is needed in each PN. Notice<br />

that there is no direct connection between the PNs, rather every inter-PN connection is made<br />

through the center stage switch. Each SNI in the switch node carriers can be connected to a PN<br />

through an EI circuit pack.<br />
