Expansion Interface Reset Test (#336)<br />

If the reset comm<strong>and</strong> returns “PN is unavailable,” perform the following steps:<br />

1. Enter change circuit-pack P, where P is the Port Network number.<br />

2. For the EI circuit pack you wish to reset, add an entry to the Circuit Pack screen for the<br />

TN570 EI circuit pack. Be sure to enter the appropriate carrier <strong>and</strong> slot.<br />

3. Submit the screen.<br />

4. Enter busyout board location<br />

5. Enter reset board location<br />

This <strong>test</strong> runs on EXP-INTF (Expansion Interface Circuit Pack).<br />

4 ABORT The neighbor EI circuit pack or SNI circuit pack is not recognized by the<br />

system. The circuit pack is not inserted.<br />

1. Insert neighbor EI circuit pack or SNI circuit pack <strong>and</strong> perform the<br />

reset again.<br />

1015 ABORT The EI circuit pack has not been busied out.<br />

1. Busyout the EI circuit pack with busyout board location.<br />

2. Enter reset board location.<br />

3. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

2000 ABORT Response to the <strong>test</strong> was not received within the allowed time.<br />

2100 Could not allocate the necessary system resources to run this <strong>test</strong>.<br />

2500 Internal system <strong>error</strong><br />

1. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 3 times.<br />
