1. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

2500 ABORT Internal system <strong>error</strong>.<br />

1. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals up to 3 times.<br />

1002 FAIL Ping pipe write failure. The C-LAN has too many ping requests buffered,<br />

<strong>and</strong> there is no room to buffer more.<br />

1. Reset the C-LAN circuit pack <strong>and</strong> re<strong>test</strong>.<br />

2. If the <strong>test</strong> fails again, replace the C-LAN circuit pack.<br />

1003 FAIL Ping to the destination failed due to an on-board problem.<br />

1. Retry the comm<strong>and</strong> at 1-minute intervals, up to 3 times.<br />

2. If the problem persists, reset the circuit pack <strong>and</strong> rerun the <strong>test</strong>.<br />

3. If the problem persists, re-administer the PPP/Ethernet connection<br />

through a different PPP/Ethernet port, if available.<br />

4. If the problem still persists, or if there are no other available PPP/<br />

Ethernet ports, replace the circuit pack.<br />

1007 FAIL Ping to the destination failed due to the destination being down.<br />

1. Verify that at least one destination reachable through this port is<br />

up. Ping this destination (ping ip-address<br />

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).<br />

2. If the ping to any destination is successful through this port, the link<br />

is up, although some destinations are unreachable. Ignore the<br />

failure.<br />

3. If the ping to every destination fails, <strong>test</strong> the port with<br />

<strong>test</strong> port location, <strong>and</strong> follow the repair procedures for<br />

Session Status Test (#1286) failures.<br />

PASS TCP/IP Ping <strong>test</strong> (#1281) is successful.<br />
