d. Error Type 769: If the main ESS detects an ESS administration for a duplicated ESS which<br />

is missing the server A IP address, an alarm is raised.<br />

In a translation upgrade,as the Main ESS detects ESS administration for a duplicated ESS,<br />

an alarm is always raised after the upgrade to an ESS system that has duplex ESSs.<br />

<strong>Dem<strong>and</strong></strong> <strong>test</strong> <strong>descriptions</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>error</strong> <strong>codes</strong><br />

There are no dem<strong>and</strong> <strong>test</strong>s for the ESS maintenance object. The following table contains the<br />

explanation of the <strong>error</strong> <strong>codes</strong> from Tests 1605, 1606, <strong>and</strong> 1607 on the TEST RESULTS screen<br />

which is displayed from the following comm<strong>and</strong>s:<br />

● enable ess<br />

● disable ess<br />

● get forced-takeover ipserver-interface<br />

Error Code Description<br />

1991 Requested ESS cluster is not administered.<br />

1992 Requested ESS cluster is not registered.<br />

1993 Requested ESS server is controlling an IPSI PN.<br />

1994 An ESS cluster may not enable/disable other clusters (ESS or main). It<br />

can only change its own enable/disable state.<br />

1995 ESS cluster is disabled.<br />

1996 Port network does not exist.<br />

1997 Not an IPSI port network<br />

2500 Internal operation failed<br />
