1. grp# is the signaling group number (1–166); the test sequence can be either short or long.
ATM-SGRP applies when ATM signaling groups have been administered on an ATM circuit
pack as ATM trunks.

The TN2305 and TN2306 ATM Interface circuit boards are referred to as TN230X for the
remainder of ATM-SGRP.
An ATM Signaling Group is a collection of B-Chels for which a given ISDN-PRI signaling-chel
port (ATM D-Chel) carries signaling information. ATM B chels (ATM-BCH) carry voice or data
and are assigned to ISDN trunks. For more information see ATM-TRK (Circuit Emulation

The operation of the entire ATM signaling group depends on several other entities:
● ATM-DCH signaling-chel port
● TN230X Interface circuit pack where a D-Chel resides
● System link to the processor via the packet bus
