Currently sat at my desk on lunch, 2nd floor of a dull 1970's office block in Bury,
North Manchester. No Air con so we just have fans on all day, but i'm out of the office a
lot. My desk is quite nice, new DELL computers with flat screen monitor but my desk is
just a mess at the moment with files cos there's so little cupboard space. Don't really
have much of a view out, there's a steam railway just opposite so sometimes I hear the
steam trains chugging along which is nice. Apart from that I sometimes hear a few
planes going over to MAN, had TravelCity Direct 742 go over the other day.

La producción de los alumnos se realiza a través de la preparación de diálogos que
describen sus puestos de trabajo y la redacción de párrafos similares. A modo de
ejemplo, se presenta la producción de un alumno sin edición por parte del docente. El
uso de las expresiones nuevas adquiridas –share, view from the wondows-revela la
apropiación del texto para la propia producción.
• I share the office with 3 other people. On my desk, there is a notebook.
There are a few folders and files on the desk. There is a telephone next to
the notebook. On the wall behind the desk, there is a window. There is a
calculator too and a few diplomas in the wall. The view from the windows is
nice. I can see the river and a park. It is very pretty. There is a quite nice
restaurant opposite the factory but there isn´t any other store, only the
restaurant. The city is far from the company.

Las dificultades detectadas en estos trabajos son inherentes al estilo del curso. Por
un lado la presencia de alumnos con distintos niveles de producción puede resultar
beneficiosa pues actúan como par avanzado en el proceso de construcción de
conocimiento. Por el otro, el docente tiene que invitar y apreciar los comentarios de
quienes tienen un desarrollo en la L2 inferior para evitar que enmudezcan ante sus
pares más fluidos. La elección del tema en ambos cursos pareció acertada. En el
primer caso, fue contemporánea al conflicto agrario argentino y en ambos casos
