Resumen
La investigación estuvo dirigida a realizar un análisis sobre la, actitud o participación del
docente universitario en el proceso de investigación como uno de los tres fundamentos
rectores de las instituciones universitarias, aspectos estos abordados desde la ética como
componente que debe prevalecer en tan significativo acto académico, la misma se llevo a
cabo en universidades públicas y privadas ubicadas en la Costa Oriental del Lago de
Maracaibo, tipificada como descriptiva-analítica, con diseño de campo, transeccional no
experimenta, la población estuvo conformada 100 docente, de ambos sexos y diferentes
edades, por considerarse una población finita se aplico el censo poblacional, para la
recolección de información se diseño un cuestionario con respuestas abiertas, el cual se
sometió al juicio de cinco expertos, aplicando una prueba piloto a 10 docente que no
formarían parte de la muestra, arrojando una confiabilidad de ( 0.97%), permitiendo
concluir que tanto las universidades públicas como privadas presentan un debilitamiento en
los procesos investigativos, evadiendo la socialización y exteriorización del conocimiento
significativo producto de los resultados de las investigaciones, limitando la aprehensión del
conocimiento única y exclusivamente a la bibliografía recomendada, generando
recomendaciones, culminando el articulo con una reflexión, sobre la enseñanza de la ética
profesional en las universidades.

Abstract
The investigation was directed to realise an analysis on, attitude or participation of the
educational college student in the process of investigation like one of the three governing
foundations of the university institutions, these aspects boarded of the ethics like
component that must prevail in so significant academic ceremony, the same I carry out
myself in located public and deprived universities in the Eastern Coast of the Lake of
Maracaibo, typified like descriptive-analytical, with design of field, transeccional it does
not experiment, the population was conformed 100 educational, of both sexes and different
ages, to consider a population finite I am applied the population census, for the information
harvesting design a questionnaire with abiertas answers, which was put under in the opinion
of five experts, applying educational a pilot test to 10 that they would not comprise of the
sample, throwing a trustworthiness of (0,97%), allowing to exclusively conclude that as
much the public universities as prevailed present/display a weakening in the research
processes, evading the socialization and expression of the significant knowledge product of
the results of the investigations, limiting the apprehension of the unique knowledge and to
the recommended bibliography, generating recommendations, culminating the article with a
reflection, on the education of the professional ethics in the universities.
